My name is Eva McCarthy, and I am a Senior At St. Joseph's University in Patchogue, NY. I have been passionate about learning since a young age and have always dreamed of becoming an educator just like those who helped shape me. Throughout my experiences in the classroom, my passion for educating has only strengthened. My students put a smile on my face every day, and watching them succeed has solidified the fact that I was meant to be a teacher. 

Whenever I am not in the classroom, I love spending time doing some of my hobbies, like baking, yoga, reading, crafting, walking dogs, and spending time with my family!  Some words to describe me would be kindhearted, down-to-earth, optimistic, and hardworking.
